Texting has big advantages and some disadvantages. It doesn’t harm the teen as long as they are not doing it when they are not suppose to. Sometimes it is a lot faster to get a message through to someone just by calling them. If they don’t pick up the phone, you can always send them a text. They will get their message one way or the other.
